Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a legal agreement between you and Signal Technologies Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17154561) with its registered office at 66 Paul Street, London, England, EC2A 4NA ("GetSignal", "we", "us"). By downloading, accessing, or using the GetSignal mobile app or the getsignal.finance website (together, the "Service"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use GetSignal. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18, have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement, and are not prohibited from using the Service under any applicable law.

3. Description of Service

GetSignal is a market intelligence application that lets you follow companies, fund managers, institutional investors, and members of Congress, and delivers a personalized feed of their publicly disclosed activity, including Form 4 insider transactions, institutional (13F) holdings, congressional trades, earnings, analyst actions, corporate actions, and related company news, along with optional push notifications and a company filings list covering other SEC forms such as 8-K, 10-K, 10-Q, and Schedule 13D and 13G. GetSignal does not provide brokerage services, execute or facilitate trades, hold or custody funds or assets, manage money, or offer investment advice. GetSignal is not a registered broker-dealer, investment adviser, or financial institution.

4. Not Investment Advice

Nothing in the Service constitutes investment, financial, legal, tax, or trading advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security. All filings, data, feed cards, alerts, summaries, importance scores, and profiles are provided for informational and educational purposes only. You are solely responsible for your own investment decisions and should consult a qualified, licensed financial adviser before acting. GetSignal owes no fiduciary duty to any user.

5. Data Sources and Accuracy

The information in the Service is aggregated from public records and third-party data providers, including SEC EDGAR, Financial Modeling Prep, and Quiver Quantitative. While we work to surface filings quickly and accurately, this data may be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate, reclassified, or temporarily unavailable, and detection or "real-time" alerting is provided on a best-effort basis and is not guaranteed. GetSignal does not independently verify third-party data and makes no representation or warranty as to its accuracy, completeness, or timeliness. Before relying on any item for a financial decision, verify it against the primary source (for example, the original filing on SEC EDGAR), which is linked where available.

6. Congressional and Insider Disclosure Data

Congressional trading profiles are derived from public STOCK Act disclosures, and insider transaction and institutional ownership data are derived from public SEC filings. This data is provided as an informational convenience only, may not be complete or up to date, and its display does not constitute an endorsement of, or a recommendation to replicate, any disclosed activity.

7. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information, keep it current, and promptly notify us of any unauthorised use. You may not share, sell, or transfer your account. You may delete your account at any time from within the app.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: (a) scrape, harvest, bulk-export, resell, or redistribute data obtained through the Service; (b) reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, except to the extent permitted by law; (c) access the Service through automated means or in a way that imposes an unreasonable load or circumvents rate limits; (d) interfere with or disrupt the Service or its security; or (e) use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any third-party data provider's terms.

9. App Stores and Subscriptions

The app is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play, and your use is also subject to their respective terms. Those platforms are not parties to these Terms and are not responsible for the Service or its content. GetSignal offers a free plan and an optional paid subscription, Signal Pro. Subscriptions are sold and processed by the applicable app store under its terms: the price, the free trial period if one is offered, and the billing interval are disclosed at the point of purchase. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the period ends, and a free trial converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before it expires. You manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store or Google Play account settings, not in GetSignal.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY. GetSignal expressly disclaims all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, non-infringement, and any warranties arising from course of dealing or usage of trade. GetSignal does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any data, alert, or notification will be accurate, complete, or timely.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, GETSIGNAL AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, INVESTMENTS, OR GOODWILL, arising from: (a) your use of or inability to use the Service; (b) any data or information obtained through the Service, or any delay, error, or omission in it; (c) any investment or financial decision made based on the Service; or (d) unauthorised access to your account. To the maximum extent permitted by law, GetSignal's total aggregate liability shall not exceed the greater of the amount you paid GetSignal in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim or USD 100.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless GetSignal and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or related to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any applicable law or any third-party data provider's terms; or (d) any investment decision you make based on the Service.

13. Intellectual Property

All GetSignal branding, logos, design, software, and proprietary content are the exclusive property of GetSignal and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Underlying filing and market data is the property of its respective sources and providers. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any GetSignal intellectual property without our express written consent.

14. Termination

GetSignal may suspend, restrict, or terminate your account and access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 4, 5, 10, 11, 12, 15, and 16 survive termination.

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Service. Nothing in this section deprives you of the protection of any mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence.

16. Modifications

GetSignal may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the app, email, or a prominent notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
