Oracle announced on October 21, 2026 Oracle AI Agent Studio for Industry Applications, a no-code and low-code environment for creating, testing, orchestrating, deploying and managing AI agents and workflows for industry-specific business processes. The offering builds on Oracle AI Agent Studio for Fusion Applications and lets customers and partners build and extend agents using existing application data, tools and business processes.
Oracle said the platform includes prebuilt industry agents, workflows, templates and reusable tools. Customers and partners can configure agents around their own data, decisions, roles and policies, test and debug them before deployment, and monitor execution, performance and AI-unit consumption. The platform also supports Model Context Protocol servers and a choice of generative AI models available through Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Enterprise AI.
Oracle said the platform supports industry use cases including engineering and construction, retail, finance, restaurants, government, utilities, communications and hospitality. Oracle gave a construction and engineering firm as an example. Oracle said the firm can use the platform to identify risks to schedule milestones, determine related field issues and propose mitigation steps for project teams, which it said helps teams act earlier to protect project timelines.
Simon de Montfort Walker, executive vice president of Industry Applications at Oracle, said AI agents create value when they work within the processes, data and controls that define how an industry operates. Eric Newmark, GVP and General Manager of Enterprise Business Applications at IDC, said the platform lets teams build, test and manage agents inside the industry workflows they already run.
Nick Yoko, Oracle AI Lead at KPMG, said industry context matters as organizations move from AI experimentation to value realization. Kevin Sullivan, Global and US Oracle Alliance Leader at PwC, said the platform combines industry context with testing, monitoring and configured access controls.
