Booking Holdings launches Vayo personal travel agent and opens waitlist

Booking Holdings said on October 14, 2026 that it has launched Vayo, a new company, in private beta, with a waitlist open at vayo.com. Vayo is a personal travel agent that organizes a user's bookings, learns how they travel and keeps working on a trip after planning is done.

Booking said Vayo is built on openness and draws on the scale and supply of Booking Holdings. Vayo works across Booking Holdings brands, including Booking.com, Priceline, Agoda, KAYAK and OpenTable, and beyond, including reservations made through other travel platforms or directly with airlines and hotels.

Vayo CEO and co-founder Mike Fridgen said that, with the backing of Booking Holdings, the company is building a personal travel agent that understands the entire trip. Booking Holdings CEO Glenn Fogel said Vayo is exploring how AI can anticipate needs to make trip planning and management more seamless.

Booking said the beta is designed as a learning period, giving early users a direct role in shaping the product and informing what gets built next. Vayo's private beta is free and invite-only, initially focused on frequent travelers who take multiple trips a year but do not always have the time to plan them. Vayo accesses only the travel confirmations needed to build and manage trips, keeping the rest of a user's inbox private.

Booking said Vayo plans to add direct booking, launch a native app and make it possible to plan trips with travel companions in the months ahead. It also plans to help travelers once a trip begins, navigating changes and decisions along the way.
